What we collect — and what we don't

In the mobile app

The app stores the following data locally on your device only, using Android SharedPreferences or iOS UserDefaults / Keychain:

• Your alarm and notification preferences (which hours and days you selected)
• Your event type configuration (Sunday KE type, Saturday warmup)
• Custom events you create (name, icon, time, days)
• Light/dark mode preference
• Ringtone selection (Android)
• One-time permission flag (to avoid showing permission dialogs on every launch)

What we never collect

• Name, email address, or any contact information
• Device identifiers or advertising IDs
• Location data
• Usage analytics or crash reports
• Payment information (handled entirely by Apple / Google)

On this website

This website does not use analytics scripts, tracking pixels, or advertising networks. Server access logs (IP address, timestamp, requested URL) may be retained by the hosting provider for up to 30 days for security purposes. DT2BApps does not access or process these logs.

Why the app requests permissions

All permissions are optional. The app works without them, but alarms will not function correctly if notification or alarm permissions are denied.

Third-party services

App distribution

The app is distributed via Apple App Store and Google Play Store. Your purchase and payment are handled entirely by Apple or Google under their respective privacy policies. DT2BApps does not receive your payment details.

No other third parties

Rise of Castles Hourly does not integrate any of the following:

• Analytics (no Firebase Analytics, no Mixpanel, no Amplitude)
• Advertising SDKs (no AdMob, no Meta Audience Network)
• Crash reporting (no Sentry, no Crashlytics)
• Social login or single sign-on
• In-app purchase SDKs beyond the native platform APIs

Children's privacy

Rise of Castles Hourly is a companion app for the Rise of Castles mobile game. The app does not knowingly collect any data from any user, including children under 13 (COPPA) or under 16 (GDPR). Because no data is collected at all, there are no special considerations for children's data.

Your rights under GDPR

Because we process no personal data, the standard GDPR rights (access, rectification, erasure, portability) do not apply in a meaningful way — there is simply no data held about you by DT2BApps.

If you believe we hold data about you, or if you have any privacy concern, contact us at info@dt2bapps.com. We will respond within 30 days.

You may also lodge a complaint with the Dutch Data Protection Authority (Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens) at autoriteitpersoonsgegevens.nl.

Managing cookies

If we make material changes to this privacy policy — for example, if a future version of the app adds analytics — we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page and, where required by law, notify affected users through the app or App Store release notes.

We encourage you to review this page periodically. Continued use of the app after a policy update constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
