This policy applies to the SafePhone application and the SafePhone Bot TikTok application, both operated by DT2BApps (@DT2BApps on TikTok). SafePhone is a security utility designed to assist users in protecting their devices and identifying unauthorized access. By using SafePhone or interacting with our TikTok content, you agree to the terms outlined in this policy.

1. User as Data Controller (GDPR Compliance)

SafePhone is a "local-first" application. DT2BApps does NOT operate central servers to collect, store, or monitor your personal data. As the user, you are the sole "Data Controller" under GDPR and CCPA. All automated actions (photo, audio, and location capture) are triggered locally by your device based on your configuration.

2. High-Sensitivity Permissions & Usage

To provide automated anti-theft functionality and security monitoring, SafePhone requires access to the following sensitive features:

• Device Administrator: Used to monitor failed screen-unlock attempts to trigger security alerts and protect the app from unauthorized uninstallation.
• Camera & Microphone: Used via Foreground Services to capture evidence (photos and ambient audio) of unauthorized users during security breaches, such as failed unlock attempts.
• Location (Background): Required to provide precise GPS coordinates in security alerts, even when the app is not in the foreground, to assist in locating your hardware.
• Phone State: Used to monitor SIM card serial numbers (ICCID) to detect unauthorized SIM card swaps and trigger automated owner alerts.

3. Data Handling & Security

All captured data (photos, audio files, location logs, and SIM info) is stored locally on the device and transmitted only to the email address you explicitly configure via your own SMTP credentials. DT2BApps never sees, intercepts, or stores this data. No data is sold or shared with third parties.

4. SafePhone Bot — TikTok Content Posting

DT2BApps operates an automated content publishing system called SafePhone Bot that uses the TikTok Content Posting API to publish security awareness videos to the official @DT2BApps TikTok profile. Regarding data usage:

• The video.publish scope is used exclusively to upload pre-generated MP4 videos to the @DT2BApps owned account via the pull_by_url method.
• No TikTok user data is collected, stored, or processed by DT2BApps.
• No third-party TikTok accounts are accessed or interacted with.
• All content posted via the TikTok API is security awareness material related to the SafePhone app.
• The bot operates in full compliance with TikTok's Developer Terms of Service and Content Policies.

5. Limitation of Liability

The software is provided "AS IS" without warranties of any kind. DT2BApps shall not be held liable for any damages, including privacy breaches or data loss, arising from the use or malfunction of the software. The user assumes 100% of all legal and technical risks.
